FABLE FARM & FERMENTORY BARN
The Fable Fermentory is like a seed nestled into a working organic farm, reminiscent of a traditional European farm winery. At the core, there is a 250-year-old barn constructed from ancient hemlock. This structure has weathered many storms and the changing face of agriculture in New England — and is now fully ready for the rebirth of agriculture in a new century.
The barn includes a commercial grade kitchen, two indoor event spaces and an open carriage barn with a generous south-facing terrace. Work and pleasure exist side by side. Raw fruit is ground and pressed, meat is dressed and roasted, grain is dried and baked, vegetables cleaned and prepared, meals are composed and enjoyed. The cave is a wonderful chance to enter the earth and feel, hear and taste the power of fermentation.
The barn is surrounded by an old orchard with many nooks for intimate gatherings as well as a generous hilltop plateau for a large tent. There are several spots that take in the surrounding working farm in all its beauty to enact the ceremonies of life.

TESTIMONIAL
Our wedding with Fable Farm was better than a dream come true! From the initial planning to the final dance, the whole experience was fun, creative, collaborative and supportive. Brooke and staff were a pleasure to work with all along. They had things so dialed in on the day of, that it appeared to be an effortless task, even though I know personally how much work and effort it took to pull off! The food was amazing, the location was breathtaking and Jonny’s bonfire was such a wonderful surprise too! We were imagining a small fire pit with a few people standing around it but he built a gorgeous piece of sacred art, which when set ablaze was so impressive and inviting that we almost forgot to have our dance party!
